Information

The University of Arkansas Museum Collections are located in the Arkansas Archeological Survey building within the U of A Collections Facility at 2471 N Hatch Ave, roughly 2.5 miles north of the main U of A campus in Fayetteville, AR.

The Museum’s collections are all housed at this location. The building also holds the Arkansas Archeological Survey coordinating office.

Tours and class visits are free and available for all interested individuals and groups. However, the museum does not have traditional public spaces like most museums. For that reason, access to the facility is limited to prearranged visits and special events. Learn more and schedule here. Always contact the Museum before visiting. DO NOT show up without an appointment.

Visitors are welcome to tour the Museum’s collections by making an appointment in advance. DO NOT show up without an appointment.

Parking is free and readily available. The #21 U of A bus route stops in front of the building. The stop name is “Biomass.”
