Egg, nest and cat exhibits

Book a tour today! Whether you want a general tour of the Museum’s collections or a specialized focus, we are happy to work with you to create a memorable and rewarding experience.

Staff are also able to provide virtual tours and off-site presentations to your group. You can also see our virtual Choose Your Own Adventure tour at any time.

  1. Request a tour or presentation.
  2. Please submit requests at least one week before anticipated visit.
  3. A request is not the same as a booking as there may be a prior event or booking. You will be contacted by museum staff to confirm your group’s visit and answer any additional questions.
  1. Tours are held at the U of A Collections Facility. This facility is located in the Arkansas Archeological Survey building at 2471 N Hatch Ave. It is NOT located on main campus, but about a five minute drive north on Garland. Learn more here.
  2. Please submit requests at least one week before anticipated visit. For groups of 40 or more, reach out at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
  3. While 1 -15 people is optimal size for a tour, larger groups (20-40) can be accommodated with additional tour guides and more time. While we occasionally accommodate 40 or more, time and space constraints do not guarantee this. We are happy to chat with you about possibilities though, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
  4. A request is not the same as a booking as there may be a prior event or booking. You will be contacted by museum staff to confirm your group’s visit and answer any additional questions.

  6. Experiences are available Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends are available.
  7. Parking is free and readily available at the Museum. The #21 U of A bus route stops in front of the building. The stop name is “Biomass.” Contact us to learn about bus parking options.
